Profile Object Failure with serialization error on Netezza

Question: Profile Object failed due to serialization error on the Netezza target database. What could be the reason?
Answer: Serialization can occur at two different levels on Netezza. One at the entire table level or two at the individual record level in a table. Please check with your DBA for the platform setting before proceeding.
For both the cases mentioned above, serialization occurs when two different processes are trying to update the same table/record in a table at the same time. Please make sure that the object is not being processed as part of another profile.
